Everything was suppose to be free and easy, yet I knew the staff at BlogMad were only in it to make a few bucks. (Nothing's for free these days)

They never kept to there word as things got going, as you well know from my past posts. "Still they gave it a good try".

I still say you can't beat your own little web site! I'm glad that this blogging is coming to an end! When it first started people said that this was the future.... hmmm.. I can't see it myself!

ISLAMIC law has been ushered into Britain by the back door.
Ministers have quietly given Sharia courts power to rule on Muslim civil cases.

These range from divorce and financial disputes to domestic violence. But furious Tories said the step “pandered to Islamic extremists”. MP Philip Davies said: “There can be only one legal system — British law. This will lead to a segregated society.”

Powers of Sharia judges have been sanctioned at five courts in London, Birmingham, Bradford, Manchester and Nuneaton, Warwicks.

Two more are planned for Glasgow and Edinburgh. If both parties in a dispute agree to abide by their rulings, they are enforceable with the full power of the judicial system.

Sheikh Faiz-ul-Aqtab Siddiqi, whose Muslim Arbitration Tribunal runs the courts, used a clause in the Arbitration Act 1996. It allows Sharia hearings to be classed as ‘arbitration tribunals’.

Richard Wright, a founder member of Pink Floyd, has died at the age of 65.
The self-taught pianist and keyboardist died after a short battle with cancer.
Wright wrote music with the legendary band for classic albums like the Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here.
His spokesman said: "The family of Richard Wright, founder member of Pink Floyd, announce with great sadness, that Richard died today after a short struggle with cancer.
"The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this difficult time."
Wright's spokesman did not say from what form of cancer the star had been suffering.

What a month!

Pug says: I'm sorry guys, but I haven't been keeping on top of things of late, you could call it the PC Blues I suppose. Ha!Ha!Ha!

I think I told you in one of my older posts that I've been trying to sort out my broadband, well I have just gone wireless! yes! wireless! yet now I seem to have more wires hanging around than I had previously.

The package I received was suppose to come with a hub phone, that! will arrive in four weeks time so they tell me. (out of stock) "typical."
So in the mean time they have sent me two cordless phones, both of which have to find a home near a plug socket, (I think you're starting to get my drift) well to cut a long story short, after I completed the installation, tested all the equipment which involved six different ring tones (all going off at once) on six seperate phones, (which in a small bungalow isn't very pleasing to the ear I can tell you), found to my amazement everything was working fine.

Why six phones you might ask? well a phone beside both computers, a phone in each of the two bedrooms, the hub phone and the hall phone. (I have now lowered the volume on all of them) Ha!Ha!Ha!

All was going well up until a couple of nights ago, when at around 03.30 in the morning a huge lightening bolt cracked from the sky which set all the car and house alarms off in the road, I shot out of bed thinking that we were all under siege. Ha!Ha!Ha!
Checked everything was OK and went back to bed.

In the morning when I booted up the PC's I found that the lightening strike had hit the phones next to them as it blew out my modem cards in both PC's. (If it ain't one thing tis another)

I always turn the electric plugs off of an evening before I go to bed but never unplug the phone from the main sockets, who does? (I don't know how people in the States get on with the severe thunder and lightening storms they get) must cost them a fortune in modem cards.

I hate it when my computers aren't up to scratch, everything gotta be just right, not that I need modem cards right now seeing I'm on broadband, but they were handy to send faxes out.

Anyroad I am now left with a lounge that looks more like a warehouse that a bomb has just hit, with empty boxes strewn all over the floor.

Hopefully things will start getting back to normal in a week or two.. Ha!Ha!Ha!

BT Broadband Sucks!

Pug says: I'm cheesed off with BT, they have really been getting up my nose these past couple of days.
I have just realised that I have been paying £20.27 a month for the last 4-5 months and only getting 2mb speed, I knew that they had a few new options but stayed with my old package thinking I was getting a better deal, not a bit like it.
After having a good arguement with BT trying to explain that I didn't want to sign up for another 12 month agreement but to increase my speed as other packages included were getting up to 8mb (they still refused to compromise with me in any way,) so I decided to take the option 3, at least I get £5 off a month for the 12 months plus I get the wireless hub etc.

I was seriously thinking of going with Talk Talk but apparently I couldn't get free broadband in my area so they wanted another £10 to use it.

If you ask me all broadband is one of the biggest rip-off's going, if you live next door to the exchange your laughing.

Pug says: Well it's a bit of a come down really, not that I'm all that interested in what power a car got these days, as long as it gets you to A-B without any trouble is fine by me.

Having said that I shall miss old Betsy, she was damn comfortable on long journeys, if she passed the M.O.T. I would have been tempted to keep her as a second car, but sadly she didn't, so now I have put her up for auction on eBay.

Someone with a bit of mechanical knowledge will get a good buy there as she didn't fail on much, just the brakes and a few minor things £50-£100 at most if a mechanic did it.

So I'm half way there with these damn cars, I shall be glad when it's all done and dusted.

So, I’m a Bigot! Their now! That is what some people want to hear.
I don’t like the word Bigot and don’t use it because it states in the dictionary that it is a person with strong, unreasonable, prejudices, especially regarding religion or race.
I have no problems with race; in fact I have quite a few friends that have coloured skin, some of which are very beautiful on the outside and some that are beautiful on the inside.

I do however have my own difference of opinion against some Religions.

I shall try to simplify it.

People who believe it is good, that women should stand if front of a crowd and be stoned to death just because they committed adultery.
People who believe it is good, that children no matter what age should be severely punished for doing minor things wrong.

People and associates who believe this is good, in my opinion are NOT GOOD people.

The above are just a couple of statements; I shall refrain from mentioning other, gorier details.

I have no problem with people who believe this, so long as they keep it in their Country of Origin, don't try to change our laws or try to bring your practices to other Civilised Countries.

I know Christianity was spread around the world but two wrongs don’t make a right.

When a child is murdered or a serial killer is caught, we all or at least the majority of us look at the television, mouths a gasp, and shout out, hang the bastard! or they should be hung drawn and quartered or cut his fucking balls off!
But that is just a spur of the moment.

I have an open mind about all things and nothing I quote nothing will ever change that, call me what you want names never hurt anyone.

This topic could go on forever, so I will finish it here and hope that this post will make someone very, very happy.

It's funny though how people can just turn a blind eye to the truth.

Police are investigating what is claimed to be the first British religious funeral pyre in modern times, because they believe the blaze may have broken cremation laws which prohibit the burning of human remains in the open air.

Rooney needs a 3 year contract serving with the British forces to get a bit of self discipline knocked into him; as for the rest of the squad, a good year over obstacle courses to try and get them to work more closely together as a team wouldn't go a miss; and a good straight 10 mile run every day! instead of just doing simple "leg benders, a few practise penalty shoot outs, and a couple hop, skip and jumps", when training would in my view also be advisable.
Gawd! if I were Manager, they wouldn't know that there ass pointed downwards, I'd certainly get the publics monies worth out of them.
