"The Bags..." I forgot about them damn bags
I'm all for this recycling lark, but surely the Council can come up with a better idea than this.
Yesterday I received a comment from Rusty Pearl about the Wheely Bins.
For all of you that haven't received their bins yet please have a look at the "What goes where?" picture and feel free to download and save it for future reference.
Now... as you can see, the Council also delivers about a years supply of 2 coloured plastic bags (about the size of the old black dustbin liners).
I don't know about you lot in the States, but for us home here in the U.K. the average size of a kitchen, is no bigger than a postage stamp, well collection times vary; one week the Brown Bin and recycling Sacks are collected; on the same day, but by different vehicles, (you are to make sure that you don't put the sacks in the bin, but next to). The following week the Grey Bin is collected.
Confused yet are we? you will be.
Trouble is where do you put the Sacks for a fortnight till collection time? Not only do you trip over the outside bins, your also falling over the sacks in the kitchen, and mess! well! the kitchen never looks tidy.
I've seen people with their sacks hanging off the outside back door handles, cluttering up their patio's, everywhere! then it's the small thing of (what goes where) I am still looking at the chart, scratching my head.
No wonder I've taken to the drink!
Hope this post has cheered all of you up for what is to come. "Aaarggggg"
