I joined the British Nationalist Party but thinking on it, it should be called the ENP (English National Party)
All those who rant a rave about there Nationality should in my eyes live in there own Country and support it, instead of getting fat and living off others. But of course that is an impossibily because they don't know how too.

*Heartbroken* Pug says: hey! they may not have set the world alight with their football, but England are through to the second phase with a game to spare for the first time in 24 years.

Sven-Goran Eriksson's side play the country of his birth, Sweden, and a win or a draw will send David Beckham and co through in first place.

If Sweden win they will finish top, but if they lose, and Trinidad and Tobago take the honours against Paraguay, the Soca Warriors could edge out the Swedes on goal difference.

Firstly, congratulations pugs, that's one hell of an achievement. I know cos I've been trying hard as hell to climb the ranks but I'm afraid I have a long, long way to go. I just find some blogs so interesting that I spend too much time reading all the posts....

Like Michele though I've only seen your blog once and that's what brought me here today so I just wonder how many times your blog has actually been viewed on BM? I agree with Michele on this.......

I think that the VARB ranking should be weighted to give people like you and Brad who give others great value (visits, hits) by surfing a lot a higher ranking so that in turn you will be more visible. If you put in, then you should be rewarded! Otherwise what's the point of having all those credits!!! You have to be rewarded objectively on your effort not just subjectively on the whims of others, voting or otherwise for your blog.

PS. And congratulations to Brad for his obvious efforts in getting their before you.

PPS. Paul! Not another limit. I say come on enter these guys on the wall of fame now based on their tremendous achievement and the rules as they are now.....you can't now move the goal posts and say "but there's more"....."achieve a new target and get a permamnet link on the wall of fame"!!!! I vote that they should already have earned their place on this so-called wall of fame.

Firstly congratulations on your BlogMad achievement, well done I've been riding your coat tails for a while but your just to dedicated and I could never have beaten you across the 30K line but anyway I hope to be 3rd across (perhaps the 1st fem) who knows. Jana told me about your post on your blog and I read her comment there and couldn't agree more about the points that she's raised and in fact, I totally agree that it's pathetic that BM didn't even pass on a thank you or give you a heap of credits for your massive achievement. Why I would have thought you'd even get a call from Her Majesty, the Queen of England to acknowledge your massive clicking ability......lol.
Oh and BTW I just love the Merchant Navy Group and The Blog Mad Group scrolling slide show thingo....would love to know how you do that cos I think it would be great for my blog to show case different clothing etc.

National Insurance loophole

National Insurance numbers were issued to 3,300 suspected illegal immigrants in 2004-5 because of a loophole in the application system, it has emerged.

Pug says: I've heard it all now.
No wonder these illegal immigrants are rushing to the U.K. and the National Health System is in so much chaos.
When a person finds a job but has no legal papers, they are interviewed at a job centre to establish their identity.
Staff must then issue N.I.Numbers even if they suspect the applicant has no right to work.
All they need then is two items of identity like a Gas Bill and their N.I.Number to get Housing Benefits.
If you ask me the whole system stinks, they contribute absolutley nothing to our Country, get more than there fair share on benefits and then send our money to their homes and families.
Yet the likes of us genuine Brits that have been paying into the system all our lives have to go for means tests etc. etc.

This apparently has been going on since 1948.
