BlogMad Rocks

Kinetiq

This is cool

Banners
200 x 200

Crinkley Bottom Observer:

I thought this one looked quite good for the Observer.
(Quite intellectual don't you think?)

Crinkley Bottom Extra:

What about this one for the Extra?
(Just the job... yeah! or neah!?)

Pug says: I was going to have another rant at BlogMad for not giving me an explanation as to how bookofliar just appeared from thin air to 3rd position on the top surfer list with (50035) surfs.

Apparently you can buy credits now and I see there is a limit of 50000 creds for sale, so I am assuming that the bookofliar has something to do with this.

So I shall keep my mouth shut or should I say fingers at bay and play a waiting game for a little while.

Above are a couple of banners that I quickly made up for the block.blogmad.net, I shall see what happens next only I made a boo boo and uploaded the Observer banner on the Extra, you can't get in to change it at the moment, so hopefully they will alter it so's you can.

Oh! and you have to wait and see if your banners are approved first though, by the Administration... this should be a laugh! as you all know, I'm not the Admins favourite blogger at the moment. They don't like criticism!

So buying credits get you onto the all time top surfers list ?

Feels wrong to me ...........

ugyen-thanks for that comment, I don't get many of them.. lol
Oh! I will check it out although I'm not a cricket fanatic.
Cheers.

msdemmie-I don't really know if that's the case or not, I'm just assuming it has some connection there, perhaps if it is one of the admins blogs then they have got to show or take stock of where the credits they are selling is coming from. Something like that anyhow.. lol
Thanks for calling in.

I was rather disappointed that BlogMad caved in to the thing of selling credits; it takes a lot of the charm out of surfing. Fuck, I'm tempted to buy some, but that would reek on principle.

Take care, Pugs! I love ya!

Yep you can buy credits or win the lottery and fast track yourself into the top 10....knock off some of those existing wingers!

Huh! I don't think so anon!
A lot of people would start shouting if that happened..
It's how many blogs you have surfed not the credits you get.

this question of instant appearance on the top surfers list has come up before ... last time i happened to know the person who was both bumped off ... and the person who mysteriously jumped up onto the list.

was the same person. just changed her screen name and freaked everyone out.

dunno if it's the same this time or not, but i doubt it's just from buying credits.

No! I don't think it's from buying credits either ender, that would be very wrong.
Something is amiss somewhere, no one can surf that fast, I think it's something to do with the running of things with BlogMad Admin.
Thanks for the info anyway.

The person who is showing up in the list is a BUG, I wont lie,

we do not want to remove it , because we can, we simply want to resolve it.

Pugs, we don't mind criticism, at all, however theres ways and means of delivering constructive criticism, whereas most of the crotocism you pass is negative, you have yet to date to offer something constructive.

and delivery is the key!

When getting a letter, do you like it in an envelope, with maybe a bow? and nice neat printed handwriting made with a fountain pen and slid under your door , perhaps smelling of a sweet perfume?

Or would you prefer a crude crayon letter written in an ugly handwriting on used paper wrapped round a rock and tossed through your window?

I would purchase credits if my bank allowed signing up with the service BM is using- this hurts US (perhaps Canadian) users which are a majority of their bloggers. Why would I buy credits? Because I have surfed my arse off on BM only to have credits disappear faster than I can surf. A VERY generous person transferred credits to me, but I continue to surf. Do I care if my blog is in the top list or if I'm a top surfer? Not at all. I've been with BM almost since it opened to the public and the same blogs are in the top over and over-so what's the point? I receive traffic from BM-a few comments here and there, but I receive more active readers from blogrolls and other services. Why did I come back to BM? To find other blogs to read. Simple as that. I've found if I-or anyone for that matter, says something negative about the service the Admins get defensive. Instead of getting defensive I think listening to the users is the key to success if they want BM to run as an actual business and not just another traffic exchange.
