Straw dislikes all Muslim veils
Cabinet Minister Jack Straw has said he would prefer Muslim women not to wear veils at all.

Pug says:Is this Country coming to it senses at last?I don't like Jack Straw myself, but I couldn't agree more with what he is doing.
It's about time the Government started to clamp down on these immigrants, legal or illegal.
They shout their mouths off about any little thing that arises.
If they can't keep with the British traditions then why do they come to our Country.
I would like to see the Government advise people, that if their way of life doesn't coincide with ours, then serioulsy reconsider coming here.
After all we cover our arms and legs in some Countries when asked to, it's only polite to do so!
Just had to get that off my chest!

There have been a couple of court cases over here about how veiled women want a drivers license but do not want to remove the veil for the picture! My god, what is the world comming to!

Oh yeah, I have to agree. After all Jack only asks women to remove the veil they don't have to, it's still their choice. It's just that ole Jack may not be able to hear them so well ya know!!

In Kuwait and Saudi you are advised not to eat outside during Ramadan. You are also advised to wear long trousers if you are male and not shorts. We comply out of respect for their beliefs and culture. Over here they say "Screw you! Your beliefs and culture don't count and you're Islamaphobic if you say different". Hypocritical wankers. Our country our ways. You don't like? Fair enough. Leave. We must never change our ways one iota for Islam. It changes to suit us in this country or it's heading for a head on collision and it will not win over here. Ever. Muslims want respect? Fine by me as long as it's returned and all too often it isn't. We have to bend for a faith that carries placards through London threatening us.
